YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS
Exercising can be strenuous and potentially hazardous to your health. The ultimate responsibility for your health, fitness, and safety rests with you.
ALL MEMBERS MUST SIGN-IN USING THEIR UNIQUE PIN AT THE FRONT DESK
This is a place to workout and tackle your goals as they relate to fitness & your personal health.
When you come in to do so, please key in so we know you’re here. Don’t expect to walk past the Front Desk in street clothes so you can chat with your friends and (intentionally or not) interfere with our other members’ ability to workout as that is not permitted.
TREAT EVERYONE WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT
Put your weights back when you're done. Wipe down machines and benches after you’ve used them.
Keep the grunting and noise to a minimum. Allow others to work in between your sets.
Feel free to listen to your personal music with headphones, not external speakers.
Refrain from wearing colognes, perfumes, and other strongly scented products.
Be mindful of your language.
TREAT THE EQUIPMENT WITH RESPECT
Some things can be dropped and banged; other things aren’t designed for that type of use.
Either way, the misuse and abuse of our gear will result in a loss of your membership privileges.
If you don’t know how to use something, ask one of the staff.
ABIDE BY THE DRESS CODE
Athletic tops (t-shirt, tank top, sweatshirt, etc.) and bottoms (shorts, track pants, jogging pants, etc) are required and must be worn as must indoor athletic footwear. Going shirtless; wearing denim jean pants or shorts; footing dress shoes, flip-flops, construction boots, etc., are all examples of things that will deny you entry to the facility.
SAVE YOUR FOOD FOR THE CAFETERIA
Food, gum, glass bottles, cans, coffee cups and mugs, etc., are not allowed in the fitness centre.
Closed-cap water bottles are perfectly acceptable.
LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER
Immediately report any facility related injury or facility/equipment irregularity to the staff on duty.
LOOK OUT FOR YOUR OWN BELONGINGS
Kit bags are not allowed inside the Fitness Centre.
There are day lockers available for use (you need your own lock) or you can leave your bag outside the front railing.
We do not recommend you leave your things unsecured in the locker rooms.
Personal items will not be held at the Front Desk and the Fitness Centre is not responsible should your things get lost or stolen in the facility.
If it’s important to you, lock it up somewhere safe.
THE FITNESS CENTRE DOES NOT PERMIT PERSONAL TRAINING BY OUTSIDE TRAINERS
THE ON-DUTY STAFF HAVE AUTHORITY OVER ALL ROOM CONDUCT AND USE OF EQUIPMENT
USE OF THE FACILITY IS A PRIVILEGE
Individuals not cooperating with established policies will be asked to leave
and may have their privileges revoked.
