Intramurals/Extramurals:

  • Sportsmanship is a necessity prior to intramural activities, during them, and even afterward by demonstrating modesty in victory and composure in defeat.
  • Knowledge of, respect for, and following the spirit of all rules is vital.
  • Participation in a manner that demonstrates more than just the desire to win is essential. Having fun, making friends, improving skills, and performing your personal best must be just as important.
  • Any derogatory or abusive comments to other players, staff, or spectators will not be tolerated.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in expulsion of the individual(s) from the event.
  • The Campus Recreation Coordinator will make any decisions regarding further disciplinary action that could result in the individual(s) being prohibited from participating in any further Campus Recreation programming.

Outdoor Adventures, Ski Trips, & other activities that involve leaving The Loyalist College Campus:

  • All trips are put together as a privilege and opportunity for those students who choose to take advantage of them.  They are planned in such a way as to promote fun, healthy activities and as a chance to meet and socialize with new people.  As participants are representing Loyalist College and its student body at all times while on official trips and activities, they are required to fill out a conduct contract which details what is expected of them while on their trip and what consequences are in place should those epxectations not be met.
